A Legacy of Friendship & Service

The Atlanta (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated established in 1953, is one of the 299 Chapters in The Links, Incorporated. The Atlanta (GA) Chapter was the first Links Chapter established in the State of Georgia. Since its founding, the Chapter has served metropolitan Atlanta through community service projects and charitable giving. As the Atlanta (GA) Chapter approaches its 70th Platinum Jubilee anniversary in February 2023, we are proud of the legacy of enhancing and enriching Atlanta's culture and the lives of families in the community.
The Atlanta (GA) Chapter’s membership of influential leaders continues to volunteer countless documented hours in service to the metropolitan Atlanta community and to the global society. The impact of this service is seen in the charitable contributions to community agencies, like the recipients of our community partners awards. These seven charitable organizations received a total of $85,000 from the Atlanta (GA) Chapter: Health, Education, Assessment and Leadership, Incorporated (HEAL); Sadie G. Mays Health and Rehabilitation Center; Moving in the Spirit; The Urban Youth Harp Ensemble; Gilgal, Incorporated; The Center Helping Obesity in Children End Successfully, Incorporated (CHOICES); and International Human Trafficking Institute. The Chapter awards scholarships to middle school, high school, and college students, and donations to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), as well as international contributions to Schools in Africa, Jamaica, and the Goat Project in Haiti.
